Very disappointed. We placed an order online and the cake was dry, hard and it tasted a few days old. The cake was $90 dollars and it only had one line of filling. Not worth the price. This was to expensive for what we got. We are never buying from this place again. NO COMPRE EN ESTE LUGAR! Muy mala calidad y muy caro para lo que recibes.

Another family favorite! We have been ordering our cakes for over 10 years at this location. To be honest, I would not go to another Dominican cake shop as I only know the best from this bakery. Not only do they do the traditional cake, but they do custom order as well for graduations and the like. Just make sure to order in person! They also have smaller bakery items and empanadas for sale as well.

Very disappointed. Me & my family have placed numerous orders from here. I placed an order for picadera for my baby shower on October 4th. I paid in full over the phone & I picked up the order on October 6th. When I got to the event I was distributing the patelitos & quipes on to different plates to put some on each table. When I got to the bottom of the tray, I noticed there was a dead roach in there. I quickly threw all the patelitos & quipes back in & threw away the tray, because it’s common sense that I’m not going to keep a tray of food with a dead rodent in it. Mind you it was already 10pm so I couldn’t call them since they were already closed. I decided to call them the next day in the afternoon & spoke to management. Lady was very unwilling to help nor was accommodating. She tried to say that they don’t have roaches there so it could have crawled in after I picked it up. I reiterated that the trays stood completely closed entire time & were not opened until event. Also, of course they are not going to admit to having roaches. You can be the cleanest & still have roaches especially being in NYC. Lady was unapologetic & had an attitude the entire time. She stated there was nothing they can do since I threw away the tray & didn’t bring it back to them as proof. I advised I had picture proof & would be posting a bad review online since she was so unwilling to help. She stated she would just comment back & negate what I said. Very unprofessional, bad customer service, dirty, & would never order again.

This place does not take orders for cakes on Saturdays. They only give you what you want what they have. Even though they have about 12 employees that are standing around, you can only place orders on Sunday through Friday. Which is very inconvenient. If you’re only day, off is Saturday. We traveled from the Bronx and explained this to them they still did not help. I personally will not be going back they should really look into changing that system because I was going to order two cakes or two different events.

I love this place and their Dominican cakes...it's the real deal here. However because of Covid store hours changed and it doesn't seem to be going back to normal again. I use to be able to get off my midnight shift and get my cake fix plus breakfast here. Now they open so late in the morning I don't ever get a chance to go by anymore. That's my only complaint STORE HOURS. Please change it because New Yorker move around the city early.
